What is Lynx Live?
Lynx Live is the University of Colorado Denver's 2nd annual spring concert where they invite Battle of the Bands winners to open for a rising artist. This event was held at Meow Wolf - Denver and was organized by CU Denver's Campus Activities Team.
Brief: Design a logo, add motion to it, and create an ad for Instagram to promote the Lynx Live concert held at Meow Wolf. The style is inspired by Meow Wolf's identity.
Deliverables: Flyers, website banners, email signage, TV signage, large posters, 2D motion ad for an Instagram reel, social media posts, and a re-designed logo.

The designs were reviewed by the marketing committee and Meow Wolf.
Ideation

Logo Sketches

Several sketches were favored, with a suggestion to combine them to represent CU Denver’s mascot, Milo the Lynx, a music note, and the logo name, "Lynx Live." This combination is expected to create a logo with an identity that students will easily recognize.



Final Logo
The logo conveys a fun, bold, and musical vibe, perfectly capturing the spirit of Lynx Live, CU Denver’s annual event hosted by Campus Activities. Designing a timeless logo that could be consistently used across posters, merchandise, and other materials was essential. This logo features a rounded typeface for a welcoming feel, along with elements like a vinyl record and a lynx incorporating a music note.
2D Motion Ad for Instagram Reel
This motion piece was inspired by Meow Wolf's vibrant exhibits. Just a small detail, the University's three main colors are shown within the logo motion as it ripples within the text.



Merchandise
Campus Activities gave out free stickers and blue bucket hats I designed for the event.


First Poster
I worked closely with the marketing committee and they requested that we would have two posters.
This would be the first poster to introduce the first look at the event and the anticipation of the headliner.

Second Poster
The goal of the second poster was to insert the image of Hailey Knox, our headliner for the Lynx Live concert. The marketing committee communicated with Hailey's team about which images were good to use and the restrictions on the content we could create about her.
